Hi! ^ that's me. Paige Cruz.

Currently employed as a Senior Developer Advocate at Chronosphere passionate about cultivating sustainable on-call practices and bringing folks their aha moment with observability.

My path to tech was anything but linear and involved a U-Turn out of Mechanical Engineering and sparked by placing, winning, and hosting Startup Weekends put on by TechStars. Followed by a year of "figuring things out" and landing as the first PeopleOps Coordinator in PDX for New Relic and a pivot to Software Engineering thanks to the support of many wonderful colleagues and framily (friend/family).

I followed my curiosity and drive to understand #AllTheThings to the emergent and interdisciplinary and stressful role of Site Reliability Engineer holding the pager for InVision, LightStep and Weedmaps.

Off-the-clock you can find me forging a sustainable fiber arts future with Ethical Yarn Community, swooning over alpacas or watching trash TV.
